Support Group
We host a monthly support group that meets in Papamoa for whānau who have a loved one experiencing mental health challenges.
Support Group
Our support groups are for whānau who have a loved one experiencing mental illness and/or addiction. It is an opportunity to share experiences, and to learn from one another in a non-judgemental place.
We also organise several guest speakers throughout the year. Guest speakers cover topics relevant to the whānau Family Link support and range from professionals within the mental health system to other community organisations.
These groups are held on the third Thursday of each month 1:00 – 3:00pm at the Papamoa Sports & Recreation Centre (Seashell Room). We provide hot drinks as well as afternoon tea.
Details of upcoming support groups can be found in our monthly newsletter and on our website.
